About the role:
As a Truck Driver you will play a key role in delivering bulk products to our extensive customer base within the Queenstown region.
The majority of the time you will be transporting the company’s aggregate products from our Parkburn quarries to our manufacturing plants, maintenance yards as well as construction projects. We operate late model vehicles with industry leading safety technology and promote an environment where people are at the forefront of what we do.
Skills and Experience Required:
We are looking for experienced truck drivers to join our Central Otago Team, based out of either Queenstown or Parkburn. You will have a minimum of a full Class 5 licence and be experienced with truck and trailer work. A positive attitude to a Living Safely work environment and a commitment to delivering a quality service are also required.
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the following:
- Be a team player and take a pride in your work
- Minimum Class 5 licence
- WTR endorsements an advantage but not essential
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of and compliance with NZ Transport Regulations
- A good attitude towards maintenance and care of machinery
- A systematic approach, good organisation, planning and problem solving skills
- Experience working in a construction environment
