The Job

 

We are recruiting for a new Asset Manager to provide leadership in Water Sector. In this newly created position, you will be working with National Water Manager, the Engineering Solutions team and Regional Managers to define capabilities required for best practice operational analytics whilst ensuring data quality supports sound business decisions. In addition to this you will conduct field auditing roles to improve health and safety and identify and record asset condition and performance. You will work in collaboration with Fulton Hogan Contract Manager’s to determine best life decisions for water asset replacements and assist clients with development of renewal plans. 

 

The Candidate

 

As the successful candidate, you will have at least 5 years’ experience in a senior role within a maintenance contracting environment. Our ideal candidate will poses the following skills and attributes:

 

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification - BE or NZCE equivalent
  • Experience in field condition assessment of water assets with operational teams and/or consultants
  • Proven experience in a similar Asset Management position
  • Previous experience dealing with internal staff and external stakeholders
  • Strong focus on health and safety
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and communication skills
  •   Ability to coach and develop skills in others especially our blue collar workforce
