The Job

Due to a busy season ahead, we are looking to expand our resources in the Construction Department and require an Operator to join the team. Roller and/or watercart experience, as well as operator experience on graders/excavators would be an advantage. Upcoming work will include:


  • Subdivision works – both rural and urban
  • Pavement stabilisation and Seal extensions
  • State highway and roundabout construction
  • Earthworks
  • Carpark construction
  • Commercial Site works


The Candidate

Ideally you will have previous asphalting experience and will be competent in operating and driving heavy plant machinery, as well as the labour functions of laying services. You will be energetic, hard-working and a good team player as well being able to demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum of full class 1 drivers licence, classes 2 and 4 beneficial 
  • WTR endorsements and experience in operating a range of construction plant and machinery would be advantageous
  • Dedication to safety in the workplace
  • Flexibility is a must as there will be occasional night work and overtime
