The Job

We are looking for people to join our Wellington Asphalt Plant. If you want to work for a major company and further you career in this industry then this will be a good opportunity. We will train you up to operate the asphalt plant and drive a big loader. You will learn what it involves to produce quality asphalt and be part of a successful team. If you like to figure out how things work and have a sincere interest in production or manufacturing then you should apply for this opportunity.

The Candidate

  • Strong communication skills
  • Dedication to safety in the work place
  • A good and responsible attitude and the ability to work within a team or on your own
  • Full Class 2 licence minimum
  • Being able to learn on the spot
  • The ability to take your time and having the patience to seeing things through
  • Willing to work shifts

Beneficial to this role:

  • Interest or previous experience in machinery or mechanical operation of machinery
  • Experience & knowledge in the road construction, surfacing, asphalt industry
