To coordinate and manage customer relations and communications on a variety of large and small projects around Auckland.
The communications team is made up of passionate people, committed to keeping our customers happy in the communities we build. This job is not about what you are qualified in but more about your attitude, ability to connect with all walks of life, clear communication and problem-solving skills and a genuine desire to balance the needs of both client and customer It is a busy but flexible role that is both office and site based. You will manage all communications and the development and implementation of customer management systems and protocols through ongoing and new contracts.
You will have exceptional communication skills, and proof that you can manage problems as they arise. Be patient yet savvy in the way you conduct yourself facing challenges and variety across a range of contracts ranging from minor maintenance works through to iconic and career-defining, multi-faceted operations. This will include showcasing your awesome people skills working and communicating with local government agencies, the client, utility providers, road users, businesses and residents as well as local iwi.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you are a team player that can demonstrate a broad background in engagement, problem solving and communications. Marketing and public relations skills will also be considered. An IAP2 qualification is preferred and a full Class 1 license is required.
